The Good: I had a wonderful day today starting out with a great message in Sunday School about God given "gifts." We have been working through the book of Ephesians and today we discussed chapter 4. I enjoyed Ron's message and it gave me a lot to think about. I also kept right under my daily calorie allowance today! Woo Hoo! I had 12 calories left over AND I had 2 pieces of dark chocolate. :)
Once again, I am going to say that tracking on Live Strong is AMAZING! I love that they have the nutrition facts for almost everything! It also charts your progress in a bar graph and it charts your daily protein, carb, and fat percentages of the day. I would HIGHLY recommend using it because it has taught me a lot about what I eat. It also helps me make wise choices and decide if I can "have" certain foods depending on how many calories I have left. It is almost like a game. ;)
I also made a KICKIN' dinner last night and wanted to show it to you. I used thin boneless chicken breast this time to make my spicy chicken tenders. DELICIOUS! I also made some yummy garlic potatoes made from small red potatoes and garlic steamed asparagus. I love making delicious and nutritious meals now!
The Bad: It was such a beautiful day today and I had planned on getting a nice walk in but I never got around to it. I need to really start "scheduling" times during the week like meetings so I keep a consistent workout/cardio plan. Since I have the day off tomorrow, I plan to walk and do a workout DVD with weights. Tomorrow night is WW night so we will see if my hard work this past week with the Jillian Michaels' DVDs paid off!
The Ugly: I have pulled something in my neck. Ouch! I don't know what I did to it but I will be going to visit my AWESOME chiropractors (Jud and Jason @ Palmetto Chiropractic Center) this week to hopefully take care of it.
Awesome!!!! (Except for the pulled muscle in your neck)...I am going to have to try to track on Live Strong...You have so many God-given "gifts"...so glad you are using some of them on this blog! Thanks for keeping me inspired!
